Directions From Johannesburg
From Johannesburg and Sandton, take the R512 past Hartebeestpoort Dam till it connects to the N4. Travel along the N4 for approximately 64km and take exit 169. Turn right at the traffic lights onto the Ottoman Highway and travel for approximately 11km. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the R565 Derdepoort road and travel for approximately 50km where you will find the entrance of Black Rhino Game Reserve on your right-hand side. It is a tar road all the way to the entrance of the reserve.
Take the following route from Johannesburg:
- R512 to the N4
- N4 for approximately 64km take exit 169
- At the traffic lights turn right onto Ottoman Highway, travel for approximately 11km
- At the traffic circle take the first exit onto R565
- Travel on the R565 Derdepoort Road for approximately 50km and turn right into Black Rhino Game Reserve

From Pretoria, Take the N1 north, exit onto the N4 direction Rustenburg. Travel along the N4 for approximately 105km and take exit 169. Turn right at the traffic lights onto the Ottoman Highway and travel for approximately 11km. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the R565 Derdepoort road and travel for approximately 50km where you will find the entrance of Black Rhino Game Reserve on your right-hand side. It is a tar road all the way to the entrance of the reserve.

- From N1 north take exit onto the N4 towards Rustenburg
- N4 for approximately 105km take exit 169
- At the traffic lights turn right onto Ottoman Highway, travel for approximately 11km
- At the traffic circle take the first exit onto R565
- Travel on the R565 Derdepoort Road for approximately 50km and turn right into Black Rhino Game Reserve
